In short: The Todo Dash developer does not collect or keep your content, such as your to-dos, notices, comments or name. Your content is stored only where you choose.

This page is an English version of the Korean privacy policy. If the two differ, the Korean version takes precedence.

1. Who runs Todo Dash

Todo Dash is made and run by Gihyun Park, an individual developer living in New Jersey, USA (the “developer”). This policy applies to the Todo Dash apps (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, Windows and web) and to the website tododash.app.

2. Where your data is stored

Todo Dash is an app that draws the screen. Your content is stored only in the storage you choose.

This device: “Just me” items and settings are stored only on the device.
Sync across devices with Google (optional): When turned on, data is stored in an app-specific folder in your Google Drive. Only Todo Dash can read and write that folder, and it does not look at any other files in your Drive.
Notion, Google Sheets, Supabase: Stored in the account connected by you or your room admin.

Each storage service handles data under its own company’s privacy policy. The developer cannot see the content in these storage services.

3. Device permissions the app uses

Each permission is requested once, the first time you use that feature, and you can turn it off any time in your device settings.

Microphone: Records only when you use voice input. The recording is sent to Google for processing as described in section 4 and is not kept on the device.
Notifications: Sends due-date reminders. Reminders are created on the device.
Calendar and Reminders (optional): When you turn on “Send to calendar”, the app adds and updates your to-dos in your device’s calendar or reminders. What it adds is stored only in that calendar and never reaches the developer. The “Add to calendar” button makes a one-time copy without any permission.

4. AI organizing (optional)

Todo Dash uses Google’s Gemini to organize what you say or type.

AI runs only after you’ve been shown an explanation and given consent the first time. Turn it off and Todo Dash is a to-do app you type into.
Content is sent directly to Google using the Gemini key added by you or your room admin, and does not pass through the developer.
With a free-tier key, Google may use the content to improve its services and humans may review it. For sensitive content, we recommend a paid tier.
Gemini is available only to users 18 or older, and in the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the UK only with a paid key.

5. Google user data

The information Todo Dash receives through your Google Account (the app-specific folder in Google Drive and your signed-in email address) is used only for sync and sign-in. It is not used for advertising, sold, or transferred to others. It is not read by humans and is not used to train AI models.

Todo Dash’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. The server the developer runs

The developer runs only auth.tododash.app. It is used only at these moments and does not store or log what it receives:

When exchanging sign-in tokens while you connect Notion or Supabase
When checking with each store that an in-app purchase is genuine (it checks the receipt and discards it)

The server and website run on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may briefly process technical information, such as IP addresses, to block attacks.

7. What we don’t collect

No usage analytics, ads or tracking tools.
The website (tododash.app) uses no cookies or visitor tracking.
We don’t sell personal information or share it for advertising.
In Google Play’s “Data safety” section, the app sending your content to the storage you choose or to Gemini is also shown as “collected”. The developer does not receive or keep that content.

8. Payments

In-app purchases are processed by the App Store, Google Play and Microsoft Store. Card details never reach the developer.

9. Accounts and deletion

On your own: There’s no account. Deleting the app deletes the content on the device. If you turned on sync, you can also delete the app-specific Drive folder with “Delete account & data” in Settings.
Shared rooms: Your account lives in the storage run by the room admin. You can delete your account or disconnect in the app.

10. Children

Todo Dash is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. AI features are available only to users 18 or older.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll post it on this page first and update the effective date above. We’ll also let you know in the app about important changes.
